Building on its recent recognition as the #1 web hosting platform in G2’s 2026 Best Software Awards, Kinsta saw more than 60% customer growth year-over-year, made two senior executive hires, expanded its partner programs and made significant platform improvements for agencies and enterprise teams managing WordPress at scale.

Record customer growth

Kinsta added 65,000 new sites to the platform in the past 12 months, bringing its total customer base to over 230,000 across 128 countries. Existing customers include LoudCloud by Barnes & Noble, The Jane Goodall Institute, McDonald’s, TripAdvisor, University of Michigan, Calm, ClickUp, NASA and Konica Minolta.

Strategic new hires

Eric Zuckerman joins as chief financial officer (CFO), with more than 14 years of experience guiding private equity- and venture-backed technology companies through growth and transformation. He most recently was CFO at Datasembly and previously held finance leadership roles at Appspace.

The addition of Zuckerman follows that of chief marketing officer Matt Reid, who joined Kinsta in June 2025 from his previous role as senior vice president at BigCommerce.

Partner program revamp

Kinsta has revamped its Agency Partner Program and Affiliate Partner Program, with a three-tier program that aligns participation and performance. Agency partners earn commissions, referrals and co-marketing collaboration scaled to their tier. Affiliates earn lifetime commissions with access to Kinsta resources and co-marketing support based on tiers.

To address these enterprise demands, these upgrades aim to eliminate the credential management, manual workflows, limited data visibility and tool switching that result in wasted resources, IT overhead and security risk.

Key additions in the past 12 months:

API expansion: New endpoints cover site resets, domain verification, DNS record management, plugin and theme inventory, WP-CLI command execution, usage data, phpMyAdmin access, activity log retrieval and SSH/SFTP configuration management.

SSO: SAML SSO support via Okta and other providers; one-click phpMyAdmin and WP-Admin access from within the Kinsta dashboard.

Bandwidth-based pricing: Launched in November 2025, it gives customers a choice between visit-based or bandwidth-based plans and the ability to easily switch between them, addressing the growing share of bot and AI-generated traffic.
