NetJets Introduces State-of-the-Art, Exclusive-Use Terminal in Augusta, Georgia
New facility set to elevate the experience for customers during golf’s most celebrated event—and beyond
COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NetJets, the global leader in private aviation, is well underway on its development of a new exclusive-use terminal at Augusta Regional Airport (AGS). This state-of-the-art facility represents a significant investment in the region and reinforces NetJets’ commitment to delivering unparalleled experiences for its customers.
Guests arriving this April for golf’s most iconic championship will witness the construction in progress, including the finished ramp and foundational walls of what will soon become a full-service terminal. The private ramp, offering 432,000 square feet of space for aircraft parking, will be completed in time for the 2026 golf tournament.
“Augusta is a key destination for NetJets Owners,” said Patrick Gallagher, President, NetJets Aviation. “This new facility reflects our commitment to providing elevated, seamless service for Owners, and our investment in making their overall experience, not just travel, memorable.”
The NetJets experience in Augusta truly extends beyond flight. In fact, NetJets has hosted customers and Brand Ambassadors, year after year. Building on the reimagined 2025 experience, NetJets will expand its presence by offering Owners and guests special access to coveted hospitality throughout the tournament, as well as an invitation to NetJets Friday Night—a popular annual event favored by repeat attendees. These exclusive experiences are ones that only NetJets can provide.
“NetJets Friday Night is truly a one-of-a-kind experience,” said Jim Nantz, renowned sports commentator and enduring host of NetJets’ legendary event. “It’s an incredible opportunity to connect with fellow golf enthusiasts, reflect on the highlights of the tournament, and share in the excitement of what’s to come. This, along with southern hospitality and unforgettable musical guests, is yet another example of how NetJets creates exceptional moments.”
In 2025, leading up to and during the tournament, from Sunday, April 5 through Monday, April 14, NetJets operated nearly 580 Owner flights to and from Augusta, Georgia marking a 34% increase in demand compared to the 2024 tournament, which saw over 430 Owner flights. NetJets customers traveled from 36 different states to attend the event, underscoring the widespread appeal of this iconic week of golf.
Looking ahead to the 90th anniversary of the event this spring, NetJets anticipates up to 775 flights to the Augusta area during the 2026 peak period, further solidifying its position as the leader in private aviation during acclaimed events that align with its customers’ interests.
Beyond this week, NetJets has seen increased demand and volume at AGS year-round. In 2025, total demand for NetJets flights at KAGS increased 27% from 2024. NetJets’ share of total departures out of KAGS has grown to 23% in recent years with even higher market share during the golf tournament.
“The NetJets terminal marks a significant business development milestone for the Augusta Regional Airport,” said Herbert L. Judon, Jr., Augusta Regional Airport Executive Director. “It will deliver premier customer service, increase airport activities, and provide a significant economic infusion for the airport and the region. We are grateful for this investment in Augusta and our strong partnership with NetJets, and we are excited for all the benefits the new terminal will bring for our mutual customers.”
The project will create local jobs during construction and ongoing operations, contributing to the Augusta economy. Designed to meet the highest standards of luxury and convenience, the finished Augusta terminal will include:
- State-of-the-art amenities: A luxurious lounge, private meeting spaces, and advanced customer services tailored to NetJets customers.
- Dedicated ramp: This private ramp ensures efficient and discreet boarding and deplaning.
This new terminal is part of NetJets’ ongoing operational expansion at key U.S. airports. With heightened strain on aviation infrastructure, this development will help guarantee access to mission-ready aircraft, not just at Augusta, but also at other Southeast airports, including Atlanta and Charlotte, that often experience congestion in the air and on the ground. In addition, this reinforces NetJets’ leadership across the private aviation industry.
