FOLSOM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NEC CORPORATION OF AMERICA today announced that the Western Identification Network (WIN) has selected an upgrade to the latest release of Integra-ID^® 7, NEC’s next-generation, cloud-native biometric identification platform. The upgrade modernizes WIN’s multi-state identification infrastructure with improved performance, enhanced security, and new biometric capabilities designed to support the evolving needs of law enforcement and public safety agencies across the western United States.

WIN, one of the nation’s largest regional biometric identification networks, will transition to the latest Integra-ID 7 cloud architecture to enable faster updates, improved scalability, and expanded biometric services while maintaining compliance with FBI CJIS Security Policy requirements.
