Altruist Launches Personalized Indexing to Bring Portfolio Customization to Advisors at Scale

New capability embeds personalization, values-based investing, and tax-aware portfolio management directly within wealth platform

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Altruist, the tech-forward wealth platform for independent advisors, today announced the launch of personalized indexing, empowering advisors to deliver client portfolio customization at scale.

With Altruist Personalized Indexing, advisors can exclude industries, sectors, issues, or securities consistently across an entire portfolio. While many existing solutions require high minimums, subadvisor arrangements, or additional operational overhead, Altruist’s offering has minimums as low as $2,000 and no added paperwork, accounts, or trading surcharges.

“For too long, customization was limited to a small subset of accounts,” said Jason Wenk, founder and CEO of Altruist. “But no two clients are alike, and no two portfolios should be either. Now, with the efficiency and accessibility built into Altruist, personalized indexing is something every advisor can offer and every client can benefit from.”

With Altruist Personalized Indexing, advisors can also see how exclusions may affect portfolios in real time, while maintaining multiple client portfolios with automatic rebalancing. The new offering is fully integrated with Altruist’s portfolio management tools and automated tax management tools, including tax-loss harvesting, gains budgeting for portfolios in transition, as well as tax management reporting.
