ICSC Launches ICSC+PROPTECH to Connect Commercial Real Estate Decisionmakers and Technology Founders

Launch signals technology’s growing influence on strategy, leasing, and development across the industry

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ICSC today announced new details for ICSC+PROPTECH, a new event connecting commercial real estate decisionmakers and technology founders at ICSC LAS VEGAS, the world’s largest commercial real estate event. Taking place May 18–20, 2026, ICSC+PROPTECH offers technology buyers and providers the opportunity to discover the latest innovations, build their network, and showcase their solutions.

The launch of ICSC+PROPTECH reflects the industry’s shift from exploring emerging technologies to implementing them at scale. From AI-driven leasing and business tools to smart building solutions, property management software, and tenant engagement platforms, the event will spotlight the pivotal role technology now plays in how owners and operators drive performance across assets and portfolios.

“As proptech investment accelerates and adoption expands, industry leaders need a dedicated forum focused on practical implementation and measurable outcomes,” said ICSC President and CEO Tom McGee. “ICSC+PROPTECH creates that space — connecting the tech innovators shaping the future with the leaders setting the commercial real estate agenda.”

A keynote will feature Randi Zuckerberg, founder & CEO of Zuckerberg Media. As an early employee at Facebook and a prominent leader in technological transformation, Randi will offer unique insights into emerging technologies, how to leverage AI tools, and ways to navigate the complexities of an increasingly digital landscape. The program will also include informative sessions on AI’s return on investment in commercial real estate, venture capital trends in proptech, autonomous commerce, unified leasing ecosystems, global technology developments, and more.

The VIP Technology Buyers Program enables senior technology buyers or leaders who make decisions on procuring new technology to connect with technology founders and solution providers during curated 1:1 meetings. Technology buyers will have an unparalleled opportunity to explore emerging solutions, foster valuable connections, and gain insights that can drive their business forward. Qualified solution providers can meet with buyers from Brixmor, Brookfield Properties, Federal Realty, Jamestown, Kimco, Mall of America, Oxford Properties, Phillips Edison, Sonae Sierra, PetSmart, and Tanger, among others. These organizations represent a range of publicly traded REITs, global property owners, and retail operators actively evaluating technologies to enhance leasing, improve operational efficiency and generate new revenue opportunities.

ICSC+PROPTECH will showcase a growing roster of exhibitors, including AutoLane, CommercializeIQ, Coniq, CRENEX, Esri, Kalibrate, MRI, Pulley, REACH/Second Century Ventures, and Unframe. Collectively, these companies offer solutions spanning geospatial intelligence, data analytics, leasing technology, asset management platforms, tenant experience tools, and more.

“Technology is no longer a niche conversation within commercial real estate — it is central to how value is created, assets are managed, and communities are served,” McGee added. “By creating a dedicated platform for this dialogue, ICSC is reinforcing our commitment to convening the industry around the ideas and partnerships that will define its next chapter.”

Co-located at ICSC LAS VEGAS, the event will begin May 18 at the Wynn Las Vegas with content sessions and roundtables, followed by exhibition, meeting and content programming May 19–20 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. ICSC+PROPTECH attendees will have complimentary access to ICSC LAS VEGAS, including opportunities to meet with the 25,000+ CRE decisionmakers expected to attend.
