Blue Wolf Capital Names Paul Claro as Operating Partner

Claro joins firm focused on the industrial sector

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blue Wolf Capital Partners, LLC (“Blue Wolf”), a middle market private equity firm specializing in the industrial and healthcare sectors, today announced that Paul Claro will be joining the firm as an operating partner specializing in industrial investments.

Claro most recently served as President and CEO of Douglas Machines Corporation, a private equity-sponsored manufacturer of industrial washing and sanitizing equipment for the foodservice and food-processing sectors. Across his career, Claro has worked for private equity-owned, family-owned, and publicly traded companies, leveraging his deep experience in complex turnaround and growth environments in both domestic and international businesses.

Prior to Douglas Machines Corporation, Claro served as Vice President and General Manager at Trojan Battery Company, a global manufacturer and supplier of deep-cycle batteries. He also served as President of the International Distribution and Services Division at Argo Turboserve Corporation, overseeing operations across 22 global locations. Earlier in his career, he held executive roles at Harsco Corporation, NUR Macroprinters Ltd., and MCM Environmental Technologies.

Claro earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Anthropology from Drew University and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
