Lyons & Simmons is one of only four Dallas-based personal injury firms highlighted in the guide and one of 15 firms in the practice area statewide. The 2026 edition recognizes 251 law firms across 33 practice areas in 18 cities throughout Texas.

“Chambers is known for its rigorous, independent research,” said firm co-founder Michael Lyons. “Being recognized reflects the quality of our trial work and, more importantly, the trust our clients place in us when the stakes are at their highest.”

With a history of record-setting results in complex, high-exposure cases, Lyons & Simmons is committed to pursuing justice with customized representation for every client. Since 2023, the firm has secured more than $1 billion in verdicts and settlements.

In one of the largest jury verdicts in Texas last year, Lyons & Simmons attorneys obtained a $109.5 million award in a catastrophic personal injury case arising from a preventable natural gas explosion. Following a two-week trial, the jury found CPS Energy 100% responsible for a home explosion in 2021 that left two people with severe injuries.

Chambers Spotlight selection involves a regional approach based on independent research and local market analysis, as well as in-depth assessment of a firm’s experience, expertise, and caliber of talent in specific practice areas and jurisdictions.
