Capital Factory Launches STATION Austin to Fortify Entrepreneurship in Texas

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Capital Factory, the center of gravity for entrepreneurs outside of Silicon Valley since 2009, announces STATION Austin, a new non-profit organization dedicated to carrying forward its community, programming, and innovation initiatives in perpetuity.

STATION Austin is the heartbeat of Austin innovation and entrepreneurship, driving the flagship programs and landmark events that have defined Capital Factory for almost two decades. From Fed Supernova, Health Supernova, and Austin Tech Week to the world-renowned CF House at SXSW, STATION Austin will continue to convene founders, investors, innovators, and government leaders from around the world in Texas.

“STATION Austin is the evolution of our mission,” said Joshua Baer, CEO & Founder of Capital Factory. “As a non-profit, we’re expanding access like never before for entrepreneurs everywhere to connect, collaborate, and scale their companies.” The shift to a non-profit reflects growing demand for more inclusive, accessible support for founders across Texas and beyond.

Building on Capital Factory’s established playbook from Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Bentonville, and Washington, D.C., STATION Austin will provide members-only content, educational programming, mentorship, and collaborative meeting space—connecting startup founders with the people and resources they need to succeed.

“STATION Austin strengthens what Austin does best: bringing people together to build what’s next,” said Austin Mayor Kirk Watson. “This new non-profit will expand access to the programming, mentorship, and connections that help entrepreneurs start, scale, and stay in Austin—creating opportunity for residents and driving our economy forward.”

STATION Austin includes the Center for Dual-Use Innovation, 23,000 square feet of space dedicated to connecting startup innovators with pathways into the Department of War and our allies. With the Army Applications Lab, AFWERX, DIU, and a dozen other services co-located together—there is nothing like it in the country.

Memberships for STATION Austin start at $250 per month and include access to an invitation-only mobile app and in-person events. 24/7 coworking and dedicated offices are available for an additional charge. Community meetups on a wide range of topics take place almost every night of the week.

Capital Factory will officially celebrate the launch of STATION Austin during CF House at SXSW on March 13. The STATION Austin Launch Party will mark the public debut of this next chapter, bringing together founders, investors, operators, and public leaders through the flagship programs and events the community knows and loves.
