Brighton Marine, Inc. Announces US Family Health Plan of Southern New England Provider Network Expansion Through Southcoast Health Network Agreement

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brighton Marine, Inc. announced today a new agreement between US Family Health Plan (USFHP) of Southern New England and Southcoast Health Network that significantly expands access to primary and hospital care for eligible USFHP beneficiaries across southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

The agreement adds approximately 160 primary care providers to the USFHP network and includes Charlton Memorial Hospital, Saint Luke’s Hospital, and Tobey Hospital, dramatically increasing access to care for both existing members and newly eligible enrollees in the region.

“This is a significant advancement for our plan and for the military families we serve,” said Neil Mullaney, President of USFHP of Southern New England. “This agreement strengthens access in a meaningful way, preserves continuity for families who value these providers, and reinforces our commitment to delivering high-quality care close to home.”

Southcoast Health is one of the largest and most comprehensive health systems in southeastern Massachusetts, offering a broad spectrum of primary, specialty, and hospital-based services.

“For military families, access and trust matter,” said Rosye Cloud, Chief Executive Officer of Brighton Marine, Inc. “This agreement reflects our disciplined focus on expanding access where our members live. We are proud to deepen our partnership with Southcoast Health and continue building a network that honors the service of our beneficiaries with the quality, stability, and respect they deserve.”

The agreement further enables USFHP to more actively engage eligible military families and retirees who prioritize access to the Southcoast system, supporting enrollment needs while reinforcing a reliable, high-performing local provider network.
