Winamp Group: Bridger, Confirmed as CISAC RME Client, Launches Its Expansion Into Global Offline Royalty Collection

BRUSSELS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Regulatory News:

Bridger, the copyright management company and part of Winamp Group (Paris: ALWIN) (Brussels: ALWIN), officially confirmed as a Client Rights Management Entity (RME) within the CISAC (International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers) ecosystem, further strengthening its global copyright infrastructure.

Following the signature of the CISAC Client RME agreement in June 2025, Bridger implemented the required business and technical framework in accordance with the CISAC requirements, with its repertoire integrated into the CIS infrastructure, including CIS-Net, the global database that connects collecting societies worldwide. This integration significantly enhances cross-border work identification and improves international royalty matching accuracy.

For members, this means stronger international identification of their works through a globally connected system. With full CIS-Net integration, IPI (Interested Parties Information, a unique international identifier assigned to each rights holder), creation and validation are fully operational, ensuring each rightsholder is uniquely identified across borders. ISWC (International Standard Musical Work Code, a unique internationally recognized identifier assigned to a musical work) generation and synchronization are also active, guaranteeing that compositions are properly identified worldwide. This structured identification framework reduces the risk of unmatched royalties and strengthens global data consistency.

Bridger is now accelerating its expansion into offline royalty collection. Building on its global online coverage, the company is now focusing on royalties generated beyond digital platforms, including radio, television, live performances, and public venues worldwide.

A key step in this expansion is Bridger’s finalized partnership with BMI, the largest performing rights organization in the United States. This enables Bridger to collect offline performance royalties across the U.S., the world’s largest performance rights market. Additional agreements are underway, with several unilateral arrangements already signed to expand offline coverage further.

This confirmation as a CISAC Client RME and our full compliance with CISAC Tools represent a major milestone for Bridger,” said Alexandre Saboundjian, CEO of Bridger. “With BMI integrated and additional agreements progressing, we are entering a new phase focused on expanding offline royalty collection. Our mission is clear: to ensure authors, composers, and publishers receive every royalty their music generates, online and offline, worldwide.”

This expansion into offline royalty collection will go hand in hand with a series of major product enhancements scheduled for the second half of 2026. Bridger will introduce new platform functionalities designed to further simplify rights management, improve transparency, and enhance royalty tracking for its members. In parallel, the company will launch a fully redesigned marketing website to better reflect its expanded capabilities and global positioning. Together, these developments mark the next phase of Bridger’s growth as a comprehensive, technology-driven copyright management partner.
