Groundworks® Issues Historic Dividend to Nearly 5,000 Employee Owners, Marking a New Era of Workforce Investment

Milestone payout reinforces employee ownership as a cornerstone of the company’s culture, trust, and performance.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Groundworks® (“the Company”), North America’s leading and fastest-growing foundation and water management solutions company, announced today the distribution of its first-ever employee dividend. This historic milestone reflects the Company’s strong performance, disciplined growth, and continued investment in its workforce.

Nearly 5,000 employee-owners will receive payouts ranging from two to four weeks of pay, based on tenure. In total, approximately $31 million will be distributed directly to its workforce. This group has also benefited from numerous career advancement opportunities, including over 4,000 promotions in its 10-year history, underscoring Groundworks’ investment in both upward mobility and career development.

The dividend is made possible through Groundworks' Employee Ownership Program ("EOP"), established in 2023 through the Company's partnership with KKR, a leading global investment firm. The program grants ownership to all employees after six months of employment, from foundation repair technicians and waterproofing specialists to corporate support staff. By broadening ownership across the workforce, the EOP creates a meaningful pathway for wealth creation that has historically been out of reach for skilled trades professionals in an industry where broad-based employee equity is rare.
