FTV Capital Announces Promotion of Adam Hallquist to Partner

Firm announces additional promotions across investment, talent and technology teams

NEW YORK & SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FTV Capital, a leading sector-focused growth equity investment firm, today announced the promotion of Adam Hallquist to partner. He will lead investments in FTV Ascend with a continued focus on vertical software, payments and financial technology and services.

Since joining FTV in 2014, Hallquist has built an extensive track record of sourcing, executing and supporting investments across vertical software and financial technology and services, helping to expand the firm’s franchise in these sectors. He currently serves on the boards of ConnexPay, Docupace, JustPark and ProfitSolv, and as a board observer at LoanPro. Hallquist was actively involved in several successfully exited investments, including Finaro, Riskalyze, Sunlight Financial, True Potential, VPay and Xplor. Prior to joining FTV, Hallquist was an investment banking analyst at Financial Technology Partners. He earned a B.B.A. in finance with a second major in economics from Emory University.

As partner, Hallquist will help scale FTV’s Ascend strategy, which focuses on smaller growth equity investments within FTV’s core sectors with flexibility to pursue both control and minority positions. The inaugural FTV Ascend I fund launched with $651 million in capital commitments as part of the firm’s record $4.05 billion fundraise announced in January 2025 and has made three investments to date, including 360 Privacy, Saphyre and Validus.

“Over more than a decade at FTV, Adam has distinguished himself as a thoughtful investor, trusted partner to founders and respected leader at the firm,” said Brad Bernstein, managing partner at FTV Capital. “He combines deep domain expertise with disciplined investment judgment and a consistent focus on helping entrepreneurs achieve long-term value. Adam’s experience and track record have meaningfully strengthened our investment platform, and we look forward to his continued impact at FTV.”
