“Using precise image-capture technology, we preserved the genuine appearance of real wood and fused it to our Novus deck boards for an authentic look that lasts—all backed by a 50-year warranty,” said Eric Dotson, vice president, product management for outdoors B2B at Fortune Brands. “Through a proprietary manufacturing process, Novus is milled to perfection and delivers color precision every time.”

Designed after cedar and the Brazilian hardwood ipe trees, exotic woods that traditionally come with hefty price tags, Novus brings luxury aesthetics with a sustainable advantage. Like Fiberon’s other composite collections, Novus is built with recycled plastics and reclaimed wood, helping to reduce deforestation.

It is also Fiberon’s most slip-resistant board ever, offering year-round confidence in every step.

“Novus redefines what composite decking can be and sets a new standard the industry has yet to match,” Dotson said.

Novus is available in three natural colors: Weathered Ipe, Natural Ipe, and Golden Cedar. IBS attendees can visit the Fiberon booth (#W3267) Feb. 17–19 to experience the boards in person and examine side-by-side comparisons of how Novus stacks up against real wood. The booth, shared with sister brands Therma-Tru, Larson, Fypon, and Solar Innovations, will also showcase other Fiberon decking and cladding products.

Since 1997, Fiberon has been manufacturing and selling high-quality composite decking and railing products designed to make outdoor living easy. Fiberon introduced the industry's first 25-year stain and fade warranty and continues to offer industry-leading warranties, including for lifetime performance.
