New Yamaha Marine Systems Company, Inc. Portal Highlights Capabilities, Broadens Yamaha’s Manufacturing Scope

KENNESAW, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Yamaha announced today the launch of a new Yamaha Marine Systems Company, Inc. (YMSC) website promoting Yamaha’s manufacturing resources both within and beyond the scope of the marine industry. The site (https://ymsc-inc.com) details the specific strengths and core capabilities of Yamaha Marine Precision Propellers (known as “YPPI”) in Greenfield, Ind., Bennett Marine in Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders (YMRM, formerly Kracor) in Milwaukee, Wisc., all of which fall under the YMSC umbrella.

Established in 2017, YMSC is a strategic, integration-focused company uniting YMSC divisions/subsidiaries of Yamaha’s U.S. Marine Business Unit including YPPI, Bennett Marine, YMRM, and Siren Marine. The new YMSC site highlights precision casting at YPPI, custom fabrication at Bennett Marine and custom rotational molding at YMRM.

“These three YMSC facilities offer advanced manufacturing capabilities and can deliver scalable products that meet the needs of the marine industry as well as those of adjacent markets,” said Ben Speciale, President, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit. “The new site promotes the core competencies of each division/subsidiary and gives YMSC an abundance of expansion opportunity.”

YPPI is one of the most advanced investment casting facilities in the U.S., guided by the company’s legacy of investment, staffing and quality. The facility’s features include: an automated shelling system, automated casting processes, automated de-gating and grinding, advanced post-cast capabilities, in-house CAD and simulation services, and patterned molding solutions.

Bennett Marine offers precision metal fabrication and complex, high-quality assembly solutions. In-house expertise includes stainless steel electropolishing, wire harness assembly, electronic controls assembly, and parts kitting and assembly.

As the plastics division of YMSC, YMRM (formerly Kracor) offers more than 50 years of experience in custom rotational molding. YMRM produces complex, hollow-body plastic parts for marine, industrial, agricultural and recreational applications, which are built for durability, UV stability and dimensional precision.
