Kindness is Rolling Out Across the Country Before America’s Biggest Game

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--With support from the NFL Foundation and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Kindland is proud to present its Kickoff for Kindness video presentation to over 1,400 schools and 543,000 students across the country on the SAME DAY (February 5th) before Super Bowl weekend. (School feedback and presentation photos will be made available upon request)

Provided free to schools, the inspiring video presentation encourages students to lead with compassion, empathy, and kindness while being inspired by NFL & Pro-Football Hall of Fame players’ kindness stories, positive peer messages, and more. It features stories from several players from the NFL and Pro Football Hall of Fame including current Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, whose 2021 on-field, cardiac arrest and subsequent recovery led him back on the field and on a mission to inspire others to lead with kindness and character.

“Hearing these inspiring stories motivates the kids to think about the importance of kindness in their own lives. All schools are encouraged to show the video on February 5 so that students feel united in working toward one common goal - treating one another with kindness, caring and respect,” said Stuart Muszynski, CEO and Founder of Values-in-Action Foundation.

Schools pre-registered for the presentation at www.BeKindland.org and can fit the video into a viewing schedule that works best for their schedules.

As part of Kickoff for Kindness, Kindland also hosted a nationwide video contest that challenged students ages 12-19 to create a video that conveys the power of kindness. The winning video is featured in the 30-minute school presentation. The contest’s Grand Prize winner Nicholas Keplinger of Fall Branch, TN received two tickets to the Super Bowl courtesy of the NFL Foundation and is headed to San Francisco this weekend. The kindness will continue after February 5th as Kindland launches its 2026 Kindness Games - a national competition to see which schools to post the most acts of kindness from February 6 - April 24th.

Kickoff for Kindness and the Kindness Games both “kickoff,” Kindland’s 2026 United States of Kindness initiative, a nationwide movement calling on all Americans to do and share 250 Acts of Kindness in honor of our country’s 250th anniversary. By doing and sharing kindness stories we strengthen community, trust, and connection across the country. To learn more about the United States of Kindness, visit USofKindness.org.
