The recent surge of FICO® Score 10T adoption is driven largely by community lenders serving underserved markets, including TLC Community Credit Union, Magnolia Bank, William Raveis Mortgage, Nation One Mortgage Corporation, Western Ohio Mortgage Corp, Vellum Mortgage, V.I.P. Mortgage, and others.

One of the most notable milestones in this wave of adoption is Spring EQ, the first HELOC lender to implement FICO® Score 10T, demonstrating its predictive value across mortgage products, including home-equity.

“In today’s market, we need tools that help us say ‘yes’ to more borrowers without taking on unnecessary risk, and FICO® Score 10T delivers exactly that,” said Saket Nigam, head of partnerships at Spring EQ. “Its predictive depth gives us more confident decisions across mortgage products, including HELOC. The result is better borrower outcomes, stronger portfolio discipline, and a lending experience that scales responsibly.”

FICO® Score 10T delivers up to 5% more loan approvals without adding incremental risk or up to 17% reduction in delinquencies, offering enhanced predictability through trended data, including rental history. Lenders benefit from the ability to receive FICO Score 10T at no additional fee from FICO as part of dual processing, alongside the Classic FICO Score, enabling seamless evaluation and transition.

“We’re excited by how quickly the non-conforming market is embracing FICO® Score 10T and the results lenders are seeing in real time,” said Devin Norales, head of mortgage and capital markets at FICO. “From credit unions and community banks to IMBs and banks, we’re eager to help partners stay on the forefront of innovation. Together, we can turn predictive insight into more keys in more hands and ultimately expand access to sustainable homeownership.”

FICO’s dedicated Mortgage and Capital Markets team continues to support clients across the ecosystem—helping lenders prepare for and maximize the benefits of FICO® Score 10T, reduce default exposure, and seize new opportunities with advanced credit tools and insights.
