EXHIBITS

Year of the Horse Exhibit in Jewel Court (February 12 – March 1)

• South Coast Plaza’s majestic Year of the Horse centerpiece marks the Lunar New Year with a sculptural expression of strength, momentum and renewal. The mechanically animated horse rises into a rearing stance atop sculpted clouds, a symbol of ambition and forward movement. Traditional auspicious elements and festive detailing usher in prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead.
• The installation is constructed by an award-winning Rose Parade float builder and crafted using floral materials and botanical artistry combined with movement and LED imagery to create a powerful seasonal moment rooted in tradition and craftsmanship.

Photo Exhibit: Nihao, China! Happy Spring Festival (February 12 – March 1)

• Nihao, China! Happy Spring Festival offers an intimate portrait of Jiangnan New Year celebrations in Hangzhou. Through 46 selected images, the exhibit traces historic landmarks, lantern festivals and quiet family rituals, capturing a season shaped by heritage. The exhibit is presented by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Los Angeles, with support from the Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism.
