BlinkRx Welcomes Former Congressman Cedric Richmond as Senior Advisor

Richmond brings decades of experience at the highest levels of public service, policy development, and strategic leadership. During his six terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, he served on the powerful House Ways and Means, Judiciary, and Homeland Security Committees, where he built a reputation for pragmatism and effectiveness. Notably, as Chairman of the Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection, and Innovation Subcommittee, Richmond led bipartisan efforts to modernize the nation's digital infrastructure and protect against cyber threats.

As the Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), Richmond prioritized economic equity, affordable housing, and criminal justice reform, playing a key role in the passage of the landmark, bipartisan FIRST STEP Act.

Following his congressional tenure, Richmond served as a Senior Advisor to President Biden and Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement. In this capacity, he acted as the primary liaison between the White House and key national stakeholders, including business leaders, civil rights organizations, and advocacy groups, helping to advance the administration’s healthcare and infrastructure agendas, including the historic Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
