In this critical role, Ostermayer will lead HBW's communications strategy and public affairs initiatives, with a particular focus on energy policy, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy campaigns.

Ostermayer brings two decades of strategic communications and public affairs leadership to his new position, much of it focused on energy. He will oversee the development and execution of integrated communications strategies, direct advocacy campaigns, and guide clients through complex policy and regulatory challenges at all levels.

"We are thrilled to have Jeff join our organization at such a critical time for energy across the nation," HBW Managing Partner David Holt said. "His deep expertise in energy and utilities issues, and proven track record of building successful advocacy campaigns, strengthens HBW’s ability to deliver results for our clients across the country. With data centers becoming the latest energy battleground, Jeff’s experience will be invaluable."

Immediately prior to joining HBW, Ostermayer served as Managing Director of Public Affairs at the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), where he led public affairs and grassroots advocacy initiatives for the association representing all U.S. investor-owned electric companies. Jeff has extensive campaign experience helping to lead efforts to defeat local ballot measures on utility government takeovers and leading multiple campaigns across the country on critical issues impacting electricity customers.

His career also includes a stint at NextEra Energy's Florida Power & Light Company in corporate communications. Earlier, Ostermayer held roles at the National Association of Manufacturers, in the U.S. House of Representatives with Representatives Mark Foley and Tom Rooney. Ostermayer helped lead Rep. Rooney’s first successful campaign for the U.S. House. Under the George W. Bush Administration, Ostermayer served as Assistant Press Secretary at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

"I'm excited to join HBW at such an important time for the energy industry," Ostermayer said. "HBW's reputation for delivering strategic, results-oriented solutions is well-established. I look forward to leveraging my experience to help our clients navigate the evolving policy landscape and achieve their goals."

Ostermayer holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University. He is a graduate and active member of Leadership Florida. He is based in West Palm Beach, Florida.
