SHREVEPORT, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Morris & Dickson (“M&D”), the nation’s largest independent wholesale and specialty pharmaceutical distributor, today announced the successful completion of the acquisition of Prodigy Health, a specialty pharmaceutical distribution and services company. The transaction strengthens Morris & Dickson’s specialty portfolio and expands access to plasma-derived therapies, while ensuring continuity, compliance and uninterrupted service for healthcare providers nationwide.

The addition of Prodigy Health’s capabilities enhances Morris & Dickson’s ability to support hospitals, specialty pharmacies, clinics, infusion centers and alternative sites of care as demand for specialty and plasma therapies continues to grow. For manufacturers, the combination creates a broader, independent distribution platform with expanded reach, disciplined specialty capabilities and a compliance-first operating model.
