Hilgers PLLC Attorneys Collect National Lawdragon Honors in 2026 Guides

Repeat selections highlight firm’s national reputation across key practice areas

LINCOLN, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hilgers PLLC, a national commercial litigation and discovery counsel services law firm, is pleased to announce that four attorneys have been named to Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Lawyers in America for 2026, and three have been named to Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Global Antitrust & Competition Lawyers guide.

Mike Merriman, the firm’s head of litigation, and partners Alice LaCour, Alec Schultz and Rose Hunter Jones all were repeat selections to the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers guide, the publication’s annual flagship legal publication.

Mr. Merriman, based in the firm’s San Diego office, and Mr. Schultz, who is based in Miami, each were recognized for excellence in commercial litigation. Ms. LaCour, from the Dallas office, was recognized for excellence in litigation involving trade secrets, government investigations and regulatory enforcement, and Ms. Jones, based in Atlanta, was honored for excellence in e-discovery.

All three were repeat selections from the inaugural list, which Lawdragon premiered in 2025 to recognize lawyers who “excel in crafting transaction terms that will pass muster with global regulatory bodies.”
