National Duals Invitational Adds $150,000 to 2026 Prize Purse

OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The National Duals Invitational, a groundbreaking collegiate wrestling event sponsored by Paycom, generated more than $180,000 in net proceeds in 2025, all of which will be allocated to the 2026 prize purse and additional event advertising.

“Thanks to the incredible support around last year’s event, we’re able to put those proceeds directly into this year’s prize purse,” said Matt Surber, tournament director of the National Duals Invitational. “With Paycom’s partnership, that infusion strengthens our payout structure and ensures programs are rewarded for winning. Fans, coaches and student‑athletes can expect another unforgettable weekend at the BOK Center in December.”

Topping $1,230,000, the 2026 prize purse will represent one of the most significant financial contributions in college wrestling.

The inaugural National Duals Invitational saw Ohio State University emerge as the 2025 champion. It featured a groundbreaking prize structure exceeding $1 million, with payouts awarded to the top eight teams and all participants receiving a $20,000 stipend. The champion earned $200,000, with descending awards through eighth place, along with $50,000 in team takedown bonuses designed to reward aggressive, high-level competition.

The 16-team field, which collectively held more than 60 NCAA team titles and over 450 individual national championships, delivered a slate of marquee matchups that further established the National Duals Invitational as one of the premier events in college wrestling.

The 2026 event will take place Dec. 12-13, 2026, at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
