Mr. Gaddis began his professional career as an in-house landman for a large, Houston-based independent exploration and production company in the Haynesville Shale, SCOOP, Permian and Delaware basins. He earned his law degree with highest honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2018 and his undergraduate degree in energy commerce, magna cum laude, from Texas Tech University.

At Burns Charest, Mr. Gaddis has handled a wide variety of energy-related cases, including title disputes, royalty underpayments, lease disputes, surface use disputes, JOA disputes and breach of contract actions. Complemented by his experience in energy litigation, he has managed other large, complex matters in multiple jurisdictions, including claims involving toxic torts, breach of contract, deceptive trade practices and other commercial cases.
