Most recently, McDonald served as chief business officer at Trustly, a global leader in online banking data and payments, where he helped expand the company’s reach to more than 600 million consumers across over 30 countries. Prior to Trustly, McDonald held senior leadership roles at MoneyGram, Nexxo Financial (acquired by MoneyGram), and Valista/iPIN (acquired by Aepona and subsequently Intel Corporation), where he led global expansion initiatives and worked with major enterprise customers worldwide.
