Oligo Appoints Shira Bendkowski as VP of Product

Runtime security product expert joins Oligo to further the company’s mission of unifying real-time protection across applications, cloud, workloads, and AI

TEL AVIV, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oligo Security, the runtime security company, today announced the appointment of Shira Bendkowski as Vice President of Product. In this role, Bendkowski will drive product vision and execution to deliver innovative new capabilities to Oligo’s rapidly expanding customer base.

Bendkowski brings extensive experience leading product strategy and innovation for cybersecurity market leaders. Previously, she was VP of Product at Aqua Security, where she led cloud runtime protection and AI security product efforts. Prior to that, she built and led the product group at XM Cyber, focused on cloud security and security posture.

“Shira’s proven domain expertise across cloud, workload, and runtime protection is a perfect fit for the world we’re building at Oligo,” said Nadav Czerninski, co-founder and CEO of Oligo Security. “Oligo is leading the shift to a new paradigm where security happens at runtime, delivering real-time, active protection against real-world threats. Standout product leaders like Shira are exactly the kind of talent needed to drive that transformation.”

Today’s security solutions largely provide passive visibility, showing the symptoms of successful attacks or flagging theoretical vulnerabilities for code that never runs. Oligo changes this by delivering runtime security that unifies real-time protection across modern applications, cloud, workloads, and AI. By knowing what definitively runs, Oligo customers identify which vulnerabilities are truly exploitable, detect malicious behavior as it happens, and surgically block attacks wherever they originate. This precision enables customers to cut through alert noise, mitigate both known and unknown threats, and ground their security programs in the source of truth that matters most: what actually happens at runtime.

“After meeting with Oligo’s leadership team and seeing firsthand how uniquely they’re approaching runtime security, it was a no-brainer to join,” said Shira Bendkowski, VP of Product, Oligo Security. “Oligo’s runtime sensor is the most technically advanced in the industry, enabling deep protection capabilities that simply aren’t possible with other approaches.”

Bendkowski joins Oligo as the company is experiencing unprecedented momentum and growth. Some recent milestones include:

  • Extended its runtime security platform to protect AI apps, models, and agents.
  • Named to the Fortune Cyber 60, a list curated by Fortune, Lightspeed, and AWS that recognizes the most impressive and fastest-growing cyber companies in the world.
  • Recognized as a SINET16 Innovator by more than 100 CISOs and risk executives.
  • Prominently featured and named a leader in cloud security in the 2025 Cloud Security Market Report by practitioner-focused analyst firm Latio.
