By delivering real-time immunization alerts at the point of care, CareALERTS for Pharmacy enables pharmacists to close vaccine care gaps, engage patients more effectively, help reduce adult immunization confusion, and support broader community health needs.

Built with API-based interoperability, CareALERTS for Pharmacy integrates with pharmacy management systems, schedulers, and electronic health records, and connects to state and jurisdictional immunization registries. The solution leverages ACIP and CDC guidelines to identify patients who may be clinically eligible for vaccines and surfaces alerts in the workflow location of the pharmacy’s choosing, allowing pharmacists to act without disrupting operations.

2025 CareALERTS Immunization Results

In 2025, CareALERTS technology successfully increased companion immunizations by 17% among participating pharmacies, reinforcing the growing impact pharmacists have on public health. Additional real-world Careerist results include:

  • One pharmacy chain logged over 660,000 additional immunizations in 2025
  • A retail pharmacy provided an additional 232,000 immunizations to eligible but underserved patients in 2025
  • One grocery chain saw an increase of over 75,000 immunizations delivered in 2025
  • A supermarket realized an increase of 20,000 immunizations within its first week of implementing CareALERTS technology
