Sunflower Bank Welcomes Andy Gaines as Regional President for Houston, Austin & San Antonio

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sunflower Bank is pleased to announce that Andy Gaines has joined the bank as Regional President for Houston, Austin & San Antonio. In this role, Gaines is responsible for leading the growth of Sunflower Bank’s middle market commercial banking business in these key Texas markets.

Gaines brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial and corporate banking with a successful track record of building high-performing middle market banking teams across the Texas Gulf Coast region. Most recently, he served as Regional Executive of Middle Market Banking at a Houston-based regional community bank, where he successfully led strategic growth initiatives. Gaines holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas Christian University. He is based at Sunflower Bank’s Houston corporate office.

Both Dobbins and Willis are experienced commercial banking professionals with deep knowledge of the Houston economy. Expanding on the current commercial banking teams in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio is a top priority for Sunflower Bank in 2026.
