Murchison O'Neill Names Roina Rivera as Member of the Firm

Mrs. Rivera’s elevation reinforces the firm’s focus on the pipeline industry

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Murchinson O’Neill Law Firm is pleased to announce the elevation of Roina Rivera to firm member, effective January 1.

Mrs. Rivera becomes the newest member of the firm’s leadership, marking a significant milestone in her legal career and reinforcing the firm’s commitment to its focus on legal and regulatory services for the pipeline industry. She previously served in an Of Counsel capacity for the firm.

Mrs. Rivera’s professional journey began in 2006 as a paralegal at a boutique commercial litigation firm in Dallas. She then pursued a law degree and was a member of the inaugural class at the University of North Texas College of Law in 2014.

In law school, Mrs. Rivera became familiar with the work of Murchison O’Neill and was quickly drawn to the complex legal issues in the pipeline industry. She joined the firm in 2016 and represents a wide variety of clients, including owners and operators of hazardous liquids and gas pipeline facilities. Her duties include regulatory compliance counseling, pipeline-related environmental matters, defending PHMSA enforcement matters, jurisdictional analyses, business and corporate, commercial insurance and cybersecurity.
