Vontier’s Driivz Named to Electric Vehicle Charging Accessibility Network’s (EVCAN) Qualified Products List

Driivz passes technical specifications and achieves vetting as preferred partner in providing safe, reliable, and interoperable EV charging and smart energy management solutions

RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Driivz, a Vontier (NYSE: VNT) company and leading global software supplier to EV charging operators and service providers, today announced it has been named to the Electric Vehicle Charging Accessibility Network’s (EVCAN) Qualified Products List (QPL). In receiving this designation, Driivz’s Smart Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging and Energy Management Platform passed a formal evaluation of its technical capabilities and abilities to meet interoperability, security, reliability and data management requirements.

EVCAN is an independent nonprofit organization designed to support decision-makers across the EV charging landscape. The QPL serves as a key transparent and publicly accessible resource for stakeholders in the processes of selecting EV Charge Station Management Systems. By being named to the QPL, Driivz officially joins EVCAN’s mission in accelerating the deployment of reliable, accessible, and connected EV charging across North America.

“We’re proud to align with EVCAN in creating safe, seamless, and reliable experiences for EV drivers,” said Blake Jessen, Driivz VP of North America. “Achieving a spot on the QPL sets us apart as a trusted partner in making smart EV charging and energy management solutions available for a range of sectors, both now and in the emerging future. We look forward to continuing to deliver excellent charging experiences for drivers and network providers alike.”

To be named to EVCAN’s QPL, Driivz’s Smart EV Charging and Energy Management Platform was evaluated on industry-leading standards and capabilities, including the following:

  • OCPI roaming: for cross-network interoperability and driver access through multiple e-mobility providers
  • Protocols that allow smart energy management, advanced operations management and accessible, dynamic payment and flexible billing support.

“Driivz’s qualification as one of the first CSMS providers on the EVCAN Qualified Products List reflects the transparency, reliability, and leadership our industry needs as we scale managed charging. Their early achievement demonstrates what’s possible, and we look forward to advancing a persistent, open and trustworthy EV charging ecosystem together,” said Tina Halfpenny, Executive Director of EVCAN.

Driivz’s status on the EVCAN QPL signifies that Driivz can be relied on as a vetted partner for public agencies, utilities, municipalities, and advocacy groups seeking smart, efficient, and scalable charging solutions. As a QPL listed vendor, Driivz’s software is recognized for its ability to scale alongside charging networks and their emerging and evolving needs. It also signifies Driivz’s Platform as being compatible for funding and rebates that require use of QPL-listed software, and for having a simplified compliance and auditory trail.
