Strive Health Welcomes Keith Bellovich, D.O., as Chief Nephrologist to Advance Kidney Care Excellence

Renowned nephrologist and quality of care advocate will lead clinical programs and provider teams in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Strive Health, the national leader in value-based kidney care, welcomes Keith Bellovich, D.O., as its Chief Nephrologist. In this role, Dr. Bellovich will partner with the Chief Clinical Officer and other clinical leadership to drive the development of clinical programs, establish best-practice protocols and oversee a team of providers dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care for people living with kidney disease.

“Dr. Bellovich brings exactly the combination of clinical expertise and collaborative leadership we need at this moment,” said Chris Riopelle, Co-Founder and CEO of Strive. “His proven track record in advancing quality standards across the kidney care spectrum — combined with his dedication to evidence-based medicine and patient advocacy — will be invaluable as we continue improving outcomes for the people we serve.”

Dr. Bellovich has been a passionate advocate for kidney disease prevention and quality improvement at the national level throughout his career. Before joining Strive, Dr. Bellovich served as Chief Medical Officer at Henry Ford St. John Hospital in his hometown of Detroit. He also served as Medical Director of acute kidney care across eight Michigan hospitals, where he provided extracorporeal therapy and led clinical investigations focused on kidney disease.

He is the immediate past president of the Renal Physicians Association and has been actively involved with the Kidney Care Quality Alliance, Kidney Care Partners and the American Board of Internal Medicine's Liaison Committee on Certification and Recertification.

Dr. Bellovich began his career in private practice at St. Clair Nephrology in Michigan. He earned his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his nephrology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital. He recently completed a Master of Business Administration at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

“I'm honored to join Strive at such a pivotal moment in kidney care,” Dr. Bellovich said. “Strive's commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence aligns fully with my vision for what kidney care should be. I look forward to working alongside our talented team to ensure we continue exceeding the standards of care our patients deserve and bring value to the entire healthcare system.”
