Terramed Real Estate Solutions Acquires Veterinary Property in Central Pennsylvania for $1.9 Million

BALA CYNWYD, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Terramed Real Estate Solutions, a leading real estate group specializing in veterinary, ophthalmology, and fertility properties, has completed the $1,927,500 acquisition of the location occupied by Animal Hospital of Dauphin County in Harrisburg.

The 7,384-square-foot building accommodates a general practice with 12 veterinarians that has served the greater Harrisburg area for nearly 65 years. The facility has been renovated over time to help the practice provide the highest level of care, and it has become part of Terramed's REIT portfolio under a long-term lease.

The transaction was structured as an UPREIT exchange in which the seller contributed the majority of the property's equity for REIT OP units. This approach supports continuity for the practice while allowing the seller to transition ownership of the location in a tax-efficient manner and participate in a diversified healthcare real estate portfolio.
