Bio-Industry Leader Ashish Malik Named DunhamTrimmer Managing Partner & Chief Strategy Officer

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DunhamTrimmer, the global leader in business intelligence for the biocontrol, biostimulant, biofertilizer, and value-added-fertilizer industries, today announced it has named Ashish Malik a Managing Partner and the company's Chief Strategy Officer. A prominent member of the global biologicals community, Malik brings more than 20 years of executive and senior leadership experience with companies focused on biological solutions.

The new role for Malik represents a key milestone in another year of record growth for the biologicals market consultancy.

Ashish joined DunhamTrimmer in April 2023 as Senior Industry Associate and was named Vice President – Strategy a year later. He began his career in Ag-biologicals at Syngenta as Head of Commercial Operations of its Home Care business unit. In 2008 he joined AgraQuest’s Executive Team as Senior VP of Global Marketing, where he was responsible for the company’s strategic and tactical marketing activities, regulatory affairs, and product development. Following the acquisition of AgraQuest in 2012, Ashish would assume the role of VP of Global Marketing for Biologics at Bayer CropScience, where he was responsible for managing the portfolio of biological assets for the company and advancing the strategy to integrate biologicals into the company’s crop and indication solutions. In 2016, he was appointed President and CEO of AgTech startup Bee Vectoring Technologies (BVT).

Ashish previously served as a Board Member of the Biological Products Industry Alliance (BPIA) under past chairs Rick Melnick and Mark Trimmer, both DunhamTrimmer partners.
