Patriot Pickle Completes Acquisition of Cosmo’s Food Products, Strengthening Its Product Portfolio and Expanding Its Footprint

WAYNE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Patriot Pickle (“Patriot”), a leading manufacturer and distributor of fresh pickles for foodservice and retail customers, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Cosmo’s Food Products (“Cosmo’s”), a West Haven, Connecticut-based manufacturer of premium pepper products and antipasto specialties. The acquisition brings together two longstanding, family-rooted businesses and expands Patriot’s product portfolio. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1944 by the Laudano family, Cosmo’s is a trusted supplier to grocers, restaurants, and foodservice distributors. The company offers a broad range of products, including peppers, garlic, olives, mushrooms, artichokes, and other marinated vegetables, sold under the Cosmo’s brand and through co-packing partners.
