Savoie has worked on both the operator and vendor sides of the market, helping customers transition from proprietary systems to open, virtualized, and disaggregated networks. He joined IP Infusion in an entry-level contributor sales position and, over the past 16 years, has been instrumental in most of the company’s largest sales. His prior roles include leadership positions at Nortel and Wind River Systems/Intel, where he focused on white box platforms, network operating systems, and software-defined networking and NFV solutions.

“From my vantage point, IP Infusion is where operators around the world come when they are ready to take disaggregation from pilot to production,” said Tom Savoie, CEO of IP Infusion. “That work is only becoming more important as our customers scale for 5G, AI workloads, and cloud connectivity. I look forward to supporting our company's important mission to give operators a carrier-grade alternative to legacy networking stacks so they can choose their hardware and reduce total cost of ownership without sacrificing performance or reliability.”

“Tom combines deep technical understanding with frontline commercial experience in open networking,” said Kiyo Oishi, President and CEO of ACCESS CO., LTD., the parent company of IP Infusion. “ACCESS sees IP Infusion as a strategic growth engine in our network business. Under Tom’s leadership, we expect the company to expand its global footprint and accelerate innovation in disaggregated network operating systems.”

With more than 600 customers and tens of thousands of carrier deployments, IP Infusion’s OcNOS® network operating system powers open, disaggregated access, aggregation, transport, and data center networks on white box hardware for carriers, network equipment manufacturers, and enterprise data centers worldwide.
