Extended Hours Will Provide More Flexibility for Students, Families and Working Adults While Unifying Operating Times Systemwide

THORNTON, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Anythink Libraries, Adams County’s public library system, is expanding open hours systemwide to enhance access, flexibility and service for the residents of Adams County.

Beginning Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, all Anythink locations will be open:

  • Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Friday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, closed

This change represents a thoughtful investment in community needs, allowing students, families and working adults more time to visit their local libraries, attend programs, use public computers and explore creative spaces.

“Libraries play a vital role in helping communities thrive, and our goal is to make our spaces accessible when they’re most needed,” said Mark Fink, Executive Director of Anythink Libraries. “By extending our hours, we’re ensuring that everyone has more chances to connect—whether that means finding a good book, experiencing a fun program with their family, using the Studio or simply being part of a welcoming public space.”

In addition to extended hours, the updated schedule will align operating times across all Anythink libraries, simplifying planning for Adams County residents. In 2026, library customers can also expect expanded evening and weekend programming, book clubs, art and technology events as well as family-oriented programs.

The new schedule applies to all seven Anythink branches, including Anythink Bennett, Anythink Brighton, Anythink Commerce City, Anythink Huron Street, Anythink Perl Mack, Anythink Thornton Community Center and Anythink Wright Farms.
