Pheasant Network by PG Labs Raises $2M Seed Round to Accelerate AI-Powered Intent for DeFAI

TORTOLA, British Virgin Islands--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pheasant Network has secured 2M USD across its seed round and ecosystem grants to advance the next generation of interoperability powered by AI × Intent. The round was led by mint, joined by 90s and several individual investors, with additional support from the Ethereum Foundation, the Optimism Foundation, Polygon Labs and multiple Layer 2 ecosystems. This new capital enables the team to accelerate development of a smarter, more intuitive cross-chain experience that brings artificial intelligence into the core of decentralized finance (DeFAI).

As the crypto ecosystem shifts toward a deeply interconnected, multi chain environment, users face rising complexity, fragmented liquidity, and greater risks of operational mistakes. Traditional cross-chain transactions require users to manually compare routes, assess cost and speed, and verify safety. Intent based systems offer a promising solution by allowing users to express the outcome they want while the system determines how to execute it. Pheasant Network aims to push this forward by combining Intent with AI, enabling adaptive execution that can evaluate trade offs, optimize paths and handle multi step flows across networks.

Pheasant Network currently supports Ethereum and more than 30 Layer 2 networks.
