AttackIQ Appoints William Booth as Senior Director of Product Management

Former MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations leader to advance product innovation, accelerate evidence-driven security programs

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AttackIQ®, the leading vendor of Adversarial Exposure Validation (AEV) solutions and founding research partner of the MITRE Center for Threat-Informed Defense (CTID), today announced it has appointed William Booth as Senior Director of Product Management. In this role, Booth will guide product strategy and innovation across the AttackIQ platform, helping organizations strengthen cybersecurity effectiveness through continuous, data-informed validation.

Booth joins AttackIQ after serving as General Manager of MITRE’s ATT&CK® Evaluations program, where he oversaw public evaluations of major cybersecurity technologies and shaped how the industry measures defensive performance. Previously, he served as the lead developer and program lead for MITRE’s CALDERA™ open-source software project, directing product management, UX, customer support, and go-to-market operations while significantly expanding the project's scale and impact.

"William brings a deep, hands-on understanding of how organizations test and measure their defenses," said Carl Wright, Chief Commercial Officer at AttackIQ. “His expertise will help us deliver product innovations that make evidence-based security more accessible, more automated, and more impactful for our customers.”

Booth joins AttackIQ at a critical time as organizations increasingly seek measurable proof that their defenses work as intended. His priorities include advancing real-time visibility into security performance, strengthening risk-based prioritization, and expanding automation so defenders can continuously validate and improve their programs.

“Cybersecurity has needed true validation for a long time—real evidence, not assumptions,” said Booth. “AttackIQ is making that a daily, operational reality. Joining the team is an opportunity to define the next era of modern defense.”
