“The Milwaukee AEC highlights both Axis’ global presence and our commitment to being part of the local community,” said Karl Radke, Business Area Director, Midwest at Axis Communications. “With nearly 20 experience centers across the Americas, we’ve seen the tremendous impact they’ve had on our partners, customers, and local communities, and they play a vital role in our overall success. The Milwaukee AEC will allow us to work more closely than ever with some of our most important customers, providing ample opportunity to learn from one another and continue our innovation journey.”

In honor of Milwaukee’s heritage, reclaimed Cream City Brick and copper details make up the 7,800-square-foot space where visitors also enjoy a Taste of Milwaukee experience – featuring local favorites that celebrate the city’s culture and flavor. The facility offers views of Lake Michigan, the Milwaukee Art Museum designed by Santiago Calatrava, and the Summerfest Grounds, allowing visitors to simultaneously experience Axis products and the spirit of the Milwaukee community.

Axis Experience Centers enable customers and partners to demo products and solutions and see how they are utilized in real-world situations to create smarter, safer environments. The Milwaukee AEC will display the latest innovations that power Axis’s solutions, including its AV1 and ARTPEC 9 chip technology, which enables advanced AI and analytics directly within its cameras, environmental sensors that detect vaping, smoking and chemical changes in the air, and an IP Speaker Clock.

In addition, this AEC features:

  • Quality testing areas where visitors can see how Axis products withstand extreme conditions, from heat and freezing to IP water testing and IK impact tests
  • Customer video footage highlighting how technology is solving real-world challenges and improving safety and operational efficiency
  • Rooftop cameras that provide a live view of long-range detection across highways and city streets

Axis representatives, including Keith D’Sa, Nikki Nemarich, and Karl Radke, along with customers, partners, and local community members, will celebrate the grand opening of the Milwaukee AEC with a ribbon cutting ceremony and champagne toast.

The Milwaukee AEC is located at 833 E Michigan, suite 1150, Milwaukee, MI 53202. To schedule a time to tour the new Axis Experience Center or to learn more about the facility and its resources, please email Milwaukee-AEC@axis.com.
