Applause Named a Top Place to Work by The Boston Globe for Seventh Year

Global crowdtesting leader recognized throughout 2025 for digital quality innovation, industry-leading solutions and sought-after corporate culture

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Applause, the world leader in digital quality and crowdsourced testing, today announced it has been named one of The Boston Globe’s Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the seventh time, and received multiple corporate and industry awards and accolades in 2025. Top Places to Work recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state voted on by the people who know them best — their employees. The 18th annual survey measured employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay, benefits and engagement. The complete list is available at globe.com/topplaces.

"To be acknowledged as a Top Workplace by The Boston Globe for a seventh time is a real honor. These awards matter because they are based on direct feedback from our employees," said Bradley Batchelder, Chief People Officer, Applause.

Earlier in the year, Applause was also named to the Boston Business Journal’s Best Places to Work 2025 list and, over the course of 2025, collected more than two dozen workplace, product and marketing awards. Highlights include eight Top Workplace Culture Excellence awards spanning compensation and benefits, employee appreciation, employee well-being, innovation, leadership, professional development, purpose and values, and work-life flexibility. Applause was recognized with a Gold Stevie in the 2025 International Business Awards, honored by RetailTech Breakthrough for e-Commerce Infrastructure Solution of the Year, and named a finalist in both the North American and European Software Testing Awards. A complete list of accolades follows.

“To be acknowledged as a Top Workplace by The Boston Globe for a seventh time is a real honor,” said Bradley Batchelder, Chief People Officer, Applause. “These awards matter because they are based on direct feedback from our employees. We’ve been very intentional about creating a culture that balances high performance with flexibility, wellness and career growth. When our employees feel supported and connected to our purpose, they do their best work — and that shows up in the high-quality digital experiences we help our customers deliver.”

“We’re closing the year on a high note, with repeat recognition by the Globe, the BBJ and more than a dozen other business and industry leaders,” added Luke Damian, Chief Growth Officer, Applause. “I’m especially proud of the awards for our videos and the ‘Ready, Test, Go.’ podcast, which reflect our commitment to educating our global clients and the digital quality market at large on the latest, most impactful software QA and AI testing strategies. As interest in crowdtesting and AI quality accelerates, we’re focused on helping organizations ship with confidence by pairing real users and domain experts with proven testing and UX research services.”
