The Mutual Group Taps Proven Insurance Sales Leader Mike Moore as SVP, Head of Distribution and Business Development

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TMG Insurance Services, LLC (“The Mutual Group”), an integrated insurance operations platform serving the mutual industry, announced that Michael A. Moore has joined the organization as SVP, Head of Distribution and Business Development. Moore is a proven insurance leader with over 20 years of experience serving in personal and commercial lines underwriting, product, sales and operations roles.

In this role, Moore will drive overall distribution strategy for GuideOne Insurance, The Mutual Group’s founding member, by expanding market presence through all channels and agency relationships. Moore will work with the team to shape and innovate the next generation of distribution capabilities, designed to be competitive and deeply partner-focused. These efforts will position The Mutual Group to proactively support the evolving distribution needs of future members as they join the platform.

Moore joins The Mutual Group from Nationwide Insurance, where he most recently served as vice president of Personal Lines Business Optimization. He had been with Nationwide since 1997, holding positions of increasing responsibility during his tenure. He is actively serving on the Grand View University Board of Trustees and is an Advisory Board Member for the Vaughn Institute at the University of Iowa. Moore is a graduate of Simpson College.
