“These strategic hires are a key part of our long-term growth strategy,” said Mr. Tuffo. “With Sean and Ben leading our Central and Gulf Coast operations, we are positioned to make a significant impact, expand into new sectors, strengthen our client relationships, and elevate the standard of construction excellence throughout the state.”

In his new role, Mr. DeMartino will lead Suffolk’s Central Florida operations. He is a respected leader with more than 30 years of construction experience in Florida and deep connections throughout Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and surrounding markets, including Jacksonville and Orlando. His leadership will help Suffolk expand into new sectors, including healthcare and higher education, strengthen the firm’s partnerships with existing clients, and introduce Suffolk’s unique building approach to prospective clients.

“I am thrilled to join Suffolk at such an exciting time,” said Mr. DeMartino. “The company’s unique, collaborative culture and client-focused approach to service are a perfect match for my leadership style and approach to doing business. I am confident we have the right team, processes, technologies and relationships to drive growth throughout Central Florida and provide our clients an exceptional planning and construction experience.”

Mr. Wilson has 20 years of experience building complex projects in Florida, including ten of those years with Suffolk where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of the firm’s Gulf Coast region. In his expanded role as General Manager, Mr. Wilson will oversee projects, manage client relationships, and ensure his teams deliver exceptional value for clients throughout Sarasota, Naples, Estero and Fort Myers.

“I have been fortunate to work with this incredibly talented team of construction professionals for more than a decade. Together, we have built something very special in this region that is driven by Suffolk’s unique culture, dedication to high performance, and commitment to community,” said Mr. Wilson. “I look forward to harnessing this team’s experience, curiosity, innovative mindset, and passion for client service so we can build buildings that will transform our cities, serve our neighborhoods, expand our Suffolk footprint, and help redefine how buildings are constructed in Florida.”

These leadership moves coincide with Jim Scarpace departing from his role as General Manager of Tampa to support Mr. Tuffo in Las Vegas, where Suffolk is building an emerging presence in a fast-growing market. Collectively, these strategic changes underscore the company’s commitment to driving regional growth, expanding in key markets, delivering operational excellence, and leveraging advanced technologies to provide smarter, more efficient outcomes for clients.
