Fujifilm to Unveil Synapse One, a Comprehensive Enterprise Imaging and Informatics Solution Tailored to Meet the Demands of Outpatient Imaging Centers, at RSNA 2025

Solution improves operational efficiency for outpatient facilities by providing an all-in-one system for managing information systems and imaging workflows

LEXINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise imaging and informatics solutions, today announced the launch of Synapse One, a comprehensive, tailor-made workflow solution designed for unique outpatient imaging needs, in North America*. This all-inclusive enterprise imaging solution enables providers to address everything from patient engagement portal, self-scheduling of exams, RIS (Radiology Information System), advanced scheduling capability, RCM options, PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), advanced 3D imaging, physician portal, and more, all within the Synapse platform in the secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. Fujifilm’s experts will be showcasing Synapse One for the first time at booth #3300 in South Hall at the 2025 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Conference & Annual Meeting held November 30 to December 3.

Outpatient imaging facilities are continuously pressured to reduce operational costs. Factors like rising expenses, declining reimbursements rates, and market competition put pressure on imaging centers to find efficiencies. By consolidating multiple applications into one system, Synapse One lowers operational costs and complexities by eliminating third-party integrations and support contracts while delivering all the robust functionality of Synapse Enterprise Imaging. Providers utilizing Synapse One also remove data center expenses and security concerns by hosting all informatics content in Amazon Web Services’ secure public cloud.

“In an environment where radiologists are continuously asked to read more imaging, and imaging centers are looking for every edge to be more efficient and competitive, we saw a unique opportunity to combine our technologies into Synapse One,” says Bill Lacy, senior vice president, medical informatics global business, FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation. “We wanted to set a high bar with Synapse One and lower current operational spending, while at the same time, deliver a better technology solution and deliver it in a more secure cloud environment. By reducing the current operational spend we also free up dollars our customers can spend on important AI technology, pre-authorization tools, and other modernization initiatives they may have otherwise been holding back on.”

Fujifilm’s experts are looking forward to meeting with RSNA attendees to highlight the breadth and power of Synapse One, and how it can transform outpatient facilities. If you are attending RSNA 2025 and would like to book a demo to learn more, click here.
