ONroute Appoints Andy Webb as Chief Executive Officer

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ONroute, Ontario’s network of travel plazas, announces the appointment of Andy Webb as its new Chief Executive Officer, following the departure of Melanie Teed-Murch, who has successfully led the company for the past six years.

Andy joins ONroute from SSP Group, a global leader in travel food and hospitality, where he spent 13 years in a variety of senior commercial and operational roles. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer for SSP’s operations in the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands, as well as Managing Director of the company’s Rail Gourmet division.

With extensive experience in the fast-paced travel and hospitality sector, Andy brings a wealth of commercial expertise and a strong track record of driving growth in collaboration with major international brands and suppliers. He will officially assume his role on December 1, relocating from the UK to Ontario.
