Certified B Corporations, known as B Corps, are part of a global movement of businesses using their influence as a force for good. With this certification, Greenplaces joins more than 9,500 organizations worldwide, including Patagonia, Ben & Jerry’s, and Allbirds, that are redefining success in business to include both profit and purpose.

“Our certification as a B Corp reinforces what Greenplaces has stood for since day one — building a company that does well by doing good,” says Alex Lassiter, CEO and Founder of Greenplaces. “We’re helping companies improve their sustainability performance every day, and it’s important that we hold ourselves to the same high standard.”

Greenplaces earned certification by demonstrating measurable impact across five key categories evaluated by B Lab: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. This process required a rigorous B Impact Assessment and third-party verification of Greenplaces’ business practices and policies.

The certification strengthens Greenplaces’ leadership within the sustainability community and opens the door to greater collaboration with fellow B Corps. As part of its ongoing commitment, Greenplaces will continue measuring and improving its impact across all areas of its business and engaging employees through volunteerism, the purchasing of recycled and local goods, and the complete offsetting of its carbon footprint.
