Fasano Longevity Conference Explores Politics, Investments and Medical Research

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Over 150 longevity professionals gathered in Washington, D.C. for the 22nd Annual Fasano Longevity Conference, which brought together leaders in politics, international markets, and medical research.

• Dr. Eugene Steuerle, Tax and Fiscal Policy Expert, analyzed The Impact of President Trump’s Tariff and Tax Policies.
• Douglas Anderson, Founder of Club Vita, provided his insights on future longevity trends in his presentation on The End to End of Longevity.
• Dr. Patrick Ng, Fasano Associates Medical Director, analyzed The Impact of GLP-1 Drugs on build, blood sugar and mortality.
• Jeff Bollerman, Managing Director of Raymond James, discussed Innovative Liquidity Solutions for Private Funds, including life settlement applications.
• Brian Lawlor, Senior Vice President of JG Wentworth gave JGW’s take on Challenges in the Structured Settlement Market.
• Chris Wells, Executive Director of ELSA led an expert panel on How Investors Should View Life Settlements. His panelists included Maurizio Pellegrini, Head of ILS at the Azimut Group, and Scott Hawkins, Managing Director and Head of Insurance Research at Conning.
• Mike Fasano led an Underwriting Workshop that analyzed some of the variables affecting life expectancy for the most complex medical conditions. Workshop participants included Fasano Medical Directors, Dr. Scott McClure and Rahul Nawander.
• Thomas Weinberger and Robert Griffin, Partners at McDermott Will & Schulte, ended the day with a round-up of the Latest Trends in Estate Litigation, as well as an update on the controversial PHL rehabilitation.
