IVI RMA North America to Present Industry-Leading Reproductive Medicine Research at ASRM 2025

36 Studies Drive Toward Increased Access, Better Clinical Processes, and Improved Outcomes Across Fertility Industry

BASKING RIDGE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IVI RMA North America, a leader in fertility care and assisted reproduction, will deliver 36 presentations and poster sessions at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Annual Scientific Congress & Expo in San Antonio, Texas, October 25-29. The Annual Congress is the premier global meeting for professionals in reproductive medicine, infertility, contraception, menopause, and embryology, to showcase the latest innovations advancing reproductive care.

More than 100 IVI RMA North America reproductive endocrinologists, scientists, clinicians, and researchers will present studies addressing clinically relevant questions on everything from nutrition, to cryopreservation, sperm testing and motility, ovarian stimulation, viability of abnormal embryos, PCOS, recurrent pregnancy loss, seasonality of pregnancy outcomes, and more. Globally, IVI RMA researchers from across 5 countries had papers selected to present at this year’s conference, covering high-impact topics like fertility in unique populations and AI in oocyte and embryo assessment.

Building on momentum from North America, IVI RMA Global research continues to lead innovation in reproductive medicine, contributing an impressive 65 scientific posters and presentations across the U.S. and worldwide. This achievement showcases the depth and breadth of IVI RMA’s industry-leading research and its ongoing commitment to advancing reproductive science on a global scale. “IVI RMA continues to invest time, technology, talent and funding into studying the most important reproductive medicine questions to generate incremental improvements and breakthroughs that push the industry forward and raise the standards of care,” said Dr. Thomas Molinaro, Chief Medical Officer of IVI RMA North America. “Our ASRM 2025 research will offer a comprehensive exploration of family building.”

Topics from IVI RMA research that will be presented at the Congress include:

  • Access and affordability of reproductive medicine that show how better policies and support can expand access as more young women choose to freeze their eggs.
  • Why, though males account for nearly half of all infertility cases, abnormalities often go undetected, and how a new sperm test can better pinpoint problems
  • Different standards for pre-implantation genetic testing and how more consistency can give patients clearer, more reliable results
  • The reproductive potential of embryos where small pieces of chromosomes are missing or duplicated (segmental aneuploidy), showing these embryos can still result in a live birth.
  • The prevalence of recurrent pregnancy loss for women undergoing IVF with a frozen embryo transfer is uncommon and unlikely to have an impact on future transfers

“For nearly three decades, we have worked to be the key driver of evidence-backed fertility research and contributed thousands of research papers and abstracts to the field,” added Christine Whitehead, MS, BSN, RN, Director of Research Operations, IVI RMA North America. “Our dedicated global research centers are vital to our clinical care, and our researchers work every day to push the boundaries of reproductive medicine forward.”
