Company’s Metadata Lake Technology and AI-Driven Data Discovery Recognized Among Most Innovative Cybersecurity Solutions

MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bedrock Data, the platform provider for data-centric security, DSPM, governance and management, today announced it has been named a SINET16 Innovator Award winner for 2025. Bedrock Data was selected from a pool of 193 applications from 19 countries. Applicants were evaluated in two rounds by the SINET Judging Committee composed of 112 security professionals including leading CISOs, risk executives, experts in government intelligence and defense agencies, venture capitalists and investment bankers.

“We’re honored to be recognized by SINET’s panel of cybersecurity experts,” said Bruno Kurtic, CEO and co-founder of Bedrock Data. “In the face of explosive data growth and AI adoption, visibility is only half the battle. This recognition highlights our ability to not only scan the largest environments without gaps, but to help organizations operationalize a data security program to turn raw findings into a prioritized workflow that gives analysts the business context they need to remediate problems effectively.”

Bedrock Data delivers petabyte-scale data visibility through a serverless architecture that operates entirely within an enterprise's boundaries, ensuring sensitive data is never exposed. Its AI-powered engine discovers and classifies information with high accuracy, building the Bedrock Metadata Lake to serve as a unified map of intelligence about your data. Bedrock Metadata Lake details data lineage, sensitivity, taxonomy, user entitlements, and access patterns to provide a complete picture of data risk. This data intelligence is then streamed into the security and operational tools enterprises already use, like SIEMs, SOARs, and workflow platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira. This enrichment is key to operationalizing a modern data security program, allowing teams to improve threat detection, better prioritize alerts, and automate policy-driven remediation.

“SINET hosts the annual SINET16 Innovator Awards in service of our mission: to advance innovation to defeat global cybersecurity threats,” said Robert Rodriguez, Chairman of SINET. “Innovation begins with increased awareness of new and emerging technologies that will better society. Through the SINET16 application process, 193 companies who applied from 19 countries were able to have their voice heard by 112 leading CISOs, Risk Executives, Venture Capitalists, and other industry professionals. Congratulations to this year’s class of SINET16 Innovators.”

The SINET16 Innovator Awards program is renowned for its rigorous evaluation process, with winners representing the most promising emerging technologies in cybersecurity. SINET is dedicated to introducing leading innovators into the cybersecurity industry and accelerating innovation by encouraging collaboration, breaking down communication barriers and facilitating high-level sharing of ideas and best practices between senior-level security professionals from the private and public sectors and solution providers, buyers and investors.
