Ben Schrag Named Chief Strategy Officer at C Street Advisory Group as Firm Announces its C Street Optimization Practice

New practice builds on C Street’s strategic communications leadership, extending its expertise into performance, growth, and strategic advisory for professional services firms

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--C Street Advisory Group LLC (“C Street”), a leading strategic communications and crisis management firm, today announced Ben Schrag, a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in professional services, has joined the firm as Chief Strategy Officer.

In his new role, Schrag will oversee firmwide strategy, drive business development, and guide the growth of C Street Optimization, a new practice designed to help professional services firms unlock value and accelerate growth.

Prior to C Street, Schrag, together with Michael J. Frishberg, C Street’s President, co-founded Prime Clerk, a tech-driven professional services firm that became the market leader in claims management and built the business into a fully institutionalized organization with gross revenue of more than $110 million, adjusted EBITDA of more than $40 million, and a team of over 1,000 people. He later served as Chief Growth Officer at Kroll and most recently as Chief Operating Officer of the Restructuring Group at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. He began his career as a restructuring attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and has advised numerous law firms and professional services organizations on strategy and execution.

Henes spent 20 years at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, helping grow the firm’s restructuring group from 20 to over 220 lawyers and the New York office from 120 to over 800 attorneys. Frishberg, in addition to co‑founding and building Prime Clerk with Schrag, served as Global Chief Operating Officer of Kroll and led Kroll’s internal transformation into a modern, global platform.
