SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Shutterfly, the leading e-commerce company for personalized products and custom design, announced its current CEO, Sally Pofcher, will transition from the role of Chief Executive Officer as part of a planned succession. Emily Whittaker of VistaPrint will assume the role later this month.

Sally has led a major transformation to strengthen the Shutterfly Inc. portfolio of brands, including Snapfish, Spoonflower, Lifetouch, and Shutterfly Business Solutions. In her various cross-functional roles, including product delivery, technology and customer experience, Emily has consistently demonstrated a customer-first mindset with an ability to lead brand growth, while deeply understanding how technology and print operations deliver value.

“I’m thrilled to join Shutterfly at such a pivotal moment,” said Emily. “I look forward to continuing the momentum – driven by innovative technology, acceleration of AI capabilities, all with a relentless focus on delivering the best experience for the customer – we’re clearly positioned for an exciting future.”

Sally Pofcher will remain with Shutterfly Inc. in an advisory role for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition.

“Strengthening these beloved brands through product elevation, the art and science of marketing, and significant innovation in the user experience has been incredibly rewarding,” said Sally. “I’m deeply proud of what we’ve accomplished together and excited to cheer on Emily and the team as they bring Shutterfly’s bold strategy to life.”
