A member of the Texas Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Rules of Procedure, Rules of Appellate Procedure and Rules of Evidence, he was chief editor of the State Bar of Texas' Texas Supreme Court Practice Manual and a two-volume work on the use of experts in family law litigation.
